Hello everyone!
This is always such a great place to come for advice....I have 4 graduation cakes to do between now and Sunday...UGH! Way over committed myself! Anyways.....I would like to put a small 3D graduation cap on two of the cakes. I need suggestions on what's the best way to make these so they are edible???

Any ideas on how to make tassles without a sugar gun or clay extruder?? I'm desperate!!

Thank you! icon_biggrin.gif

I use half a ball pan for the base and a piece of cardboard covered in fondant for the mortar board. I make the tassle out of fondant too.

Here's a link to a website with a somewhat different way to make a cap & tassle. http://www.brightideas.com/summer/recipes/r_1781_1.jsp
