I'm making bridal shower cookies in 2 weeks. The brides colors are purple, purple, and more purple! I hate it because I can never get the purple to stay purple. (I hope I'm not confusing anyone.)

The color always changes to a blueish-grey.

Any tips???? I use a normal purple Americolor. Please help!!!

What are you icing the cookies with? I've only used royal icing on cookies and never had a problem with purple - but I usually mix a red with a blue. Hmmm.

My purple does the same when I use purple coloring- but not when I mix red and blue. Go figure!
