Debbie Brown's Ballerina Cake - How To Make Girls Face?
Decorating By projectqueen Updated 21 May 2007 , 6:51pm by mom2spunkynbug
I want to try Debbie Brown's ballerina cake for my daughter's dance recital.
I have the directions, but I want to make the face look like a little girl and not a lady.
Does anyone have any idea or photos on how to make a little girl's face?
Thanks.
yes...take a look at Aine2's work... she is an amazingly talented figure modeler.....I have a pic of a few fairies that look like little girls...

I haven't seen the cake, but generally girls faces are rounder, and with larger eyes than women's faces.
Yes, I agree with kbochick - Debbie's Brown's figure has more of a pointed chin and small eyes, I would exaggerate the features some, bigger eyes, rounder face
Maybe try the eyes a little closer and the cheeks a little rosier.
I did one for my daughters birthday and her dance recital. Both looked like gils not women. The kids will go crazy over her! i was just thinking of making another one for this years!
...not that I'm an expert or anything, lol...
but I agree with the others saying to make the face (& nose) rounder & the eyes bigger.
Ok, I guess I didn't add anything new! lol
I can't wait to see your cake! I'm really getting into figure modeling!
