looked for it in the grocery store and couldn't find it- does michaels have it?? Where do you buy yours?

Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Winn Dixie (here in FL) has powdered egg whites, not sure if thats the same thing though.

Grocery stores usually have a product called "Just Whites". It is a round paper cannister in the baking isle. It isn't quite the same as meringue powder, but if you add 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar, you will get the same results.

Michaels has Meringue Powder.

Wal Mart ususally carries it for a little less.

I like that you can now buy a 16 oz. container. You're not saving much money, if any, over 2 8 oz. containers, but the convenience is so nice. It's about $15 for a 16 oz. can.

I get mine @ Michael's too -- in the cake supply aisle.
