I had a piece of this cake at the Macarroni Grill restaurant and would like to "replicate". This is the description on the menu (Citrus cake soaked in a sweet cream, topped with lemon mousse and finished off with our fresh Italian whipped cream and caramel) Any ideas onthe cake itself and the syrup. Thanks thumbs_up.gif .

Did they have the name of the cake on the menu? Perhaps you can google the name and see if you can get the recipe that way

Thanks for the idea. Is called lemon passion cake, I tried the search and got a lot of lemon cakes as well as passion but not the two together. That cake tasted like orange, lemon and other really good things that I don't know what they are at the same time thumbs_up.gif .
