Aside from the ingredients, what is the difference between royal icing and color flow? Also I made the no-fail sugar cookies. How long will they stay fresh? Thanks -rhondie

Color flow will have a gloss to it when it dries, and royal does not. That is about the only difference in the two.

Color flow is stronger, shinier and has more of a pillow affect. Royal is more flat, matte finish, more fragile, but tastes a whole heck of a lot better on cookies than color flow! As for length of time--not sure, never had cookies last in my house more than 3 days! icon_eek.gif

Thank you so much guys! That was my next question, which one tastes best. I really like buttercream icing on my sugar cookies...yum,yum. The only problem is they are unstackable, harder to frost etc. Thanks again!!-rhondie
