I am making gumpaste for a cake. I am wondering if they will really be eaten. They seem so brittle and hard. Should I warn people they are not soft or should I just remove them before I serve. I want to use them because they are so pretty! Please help!

Well, I can't speak for adults, but my son sure seems to like them. He goes out of the way to find where they're hidden, take them somewhere out of the way and tear them to shreds before he starts to eat them. He sucks on them like hard candy or lolipops.

kids do seem to like them. I suggest people remove them prior to cutting, and I make many of my sprays in a way that they can be saved and displayed if the person wants to do that.
