use Gumpaste??? I bought a container today from AC Moore. I need to make baby booties for a cake this coming weekend and I've never used the stuff. I certainly don't need the whole container, but the instructions clearly state a recipe for the whole 1lb. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do???

You can make a lesser amount, just halve the ingredients. My wilton instructor took out a random amount that she thought we needed, then added enough water to make a dough.
Just make sure you let it rest overnight before using it.
Roll out with fondant roller and cut whatever pieces you need. Or mold it with your hands.

Stick pieces together while still moist by using a brush dipped in egg white, or mix gumarabic with 4-5 parts water, or use meringue pwdr mixed with water, or just use water in a pinch. Spit can also work....lick it and stick it....just kidding.

Have a fun time with the play doh!
