I bought some filling at the cake store today and upon getting home realized I didn't know what to do with it! So here are my questions.

1. How long will it last for unopened?

2. How long will it last for once opened?

3. Where should I store it after I open it?

Thanks!

Sort of need to know what kind of filling. Is it the one that comes in a sleeve? They last for a long time in the sleeve. I usually put what I don't use in the fridge in an airtight container. Still using some raspberry filling I bought in January. Still tastes great.

Sorry, they are like the ones seen here... http://www.candylandcrafts.com/pastry_fillings.htm I guess those are called sleeves?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, those are the sleeves. Unopened, they keep on the shelf for almost forever. Once opened, I close with a clip (like a small chip-bag-clip or a paper clip and store in the 'frig. They last a good long time in the 'frig. I can't tell you exactly how long because I end up using them within a month or so.
