I just got a request for an 11x15 sheet cake for a b-day and they want german choc cake. Does anyone have suggestions for a doctored mix recipe? I don't have enough time to do it from scratch so i was hoping that one of the many fine people from CC could offer me a great recipe! Also, any ideas for a frosting to use with this?

Thanks!!!!
Rhonda

I was wondering the same thing, thanks ISHI. But Ishi, in the thread you guys were talking about the frosting recipe but I didn't see it on there. Do you have the frosting recipe and are willing to share?? Your cake is absolutely beautiful!! TIA

I put a half can of the canned coconut pecan icing in my mix, and it's delicious. I get rave reviews on it, and it's very easy to do! Just add it in with the rest of your ingredients!

Sure! I used the recipe on the back of the Baker's German Choc. bar. Here's a link. It is so fantastic!
