I think I spent 6 hours on this cake. I'm just happy it's done and I didn't have to pull an all nighter. Everything is edible, kudos to you ladies who make a lot of carved cakes.

Would you mind terribly to just post the instructions for this cake? I mean it's awesome and I'm sure that I wouldn't be the only one to appreciate the effort.

OH!

I'm SOO impressed!

Y'all people who work with fondant are real artists. I'm just a good ole' fashioned butter cream lady myself...

Nice!

Mac icon_smile.gif I'll post instructions and patterns, I really didn't think anyone would be interested in a turtle tutorial so I didn't bother. knoxcop1 I still go round and round with buttercream. *laff* Getting buttercream smooth is just as challenging.

KarenOR, nothing special. *laff* The paddle is your best friend with fondant. The boy next door who turned 12 loved it and even came over to thank me personally. He even asked me all sorts of questions about cake decorating and the mechanics of it then finished with a, You're so cool! I have fuzzies now.
