I wanted to make a cake with an Almond flavoring, but wasn't sure to use the almond in the cake or the icing. What do you think goes well with almond?

If you made an almond cake you could use a cream cheese frosting. I have also been toying with the idea of doing an almond and orange cake. Of course chocolate and almond go great together.

I used almond flavoring in my icing, and made a banana flavored cake. French vanilla cake mix, with a pouch of cook & serve banana cream pudding mix added in. Everyone LOVED it!!

I love peaches with almond. Sooooo Gooooood
