Strawberry Filling ...question

I am making a strawberry cake and would love to use a strawberry filling, I have the filling you buy premade in a plastic pouch(sleeve) can I use it without refridgerating the cake? I don't have room in the fridge because it is packed with food for the picnic.

Was this filling in the refridge. when you bought it??? Look on the side of the package and it should tell you if you need to chill it.
I've never use these types of filling before so I can't help you.
