Can I put decorated cake in fridge that has RI decorations? Cake has fresh strawberries in filling and therefore need to be refrigerated.

The RI flowers will soften. If they are simple flat flowers, they should be fine. Even roses are OK, if they are very dry when you put them in. You want to avoid taking the cake directly from the cold fridge into a hot environment, as that will definitely encourage condensation. But I have use RI flowers on buttercream with no problems.

It worked. I was able to place the cake with the decorations in the fridge for the evening and was able to take it out and serve it with no problems.
Thanks for your responses JoAnnB
