Ok here goes again. I pulled the huge tub of stuff out and it has been only open for 1 week. My house is air conditioned by the way and when I opened the lid it(the shortening) looked sweaty? icon_surprised.gif I vowed to use the rest of it as a moisterizer for my hands!!! By the way I posted in the other thread, but it was getting long so started another one. I did e-mail too.

birdgirl, using Crisco as a moisturizer is not that far off. icon_smile.gif

I have a recipe for lye soap that uses a can of Crisco for the oil/s.*

*Recipe will probably have to be recalculated because of Crisco's new formula......

At one time I worked in a doctors office, and that is what they used for hand lotion. We kept it in a jar with at label that said "Wonderful C". Several people asked where they could buy that wonderful hand lotion! icon_lol.gif
