They were at a book signing in Plano and my dd and sister and I went! We stood in line almost 3 hours but it was totaly worth it. She seemed as nice as she does on TV! I AM SO EXCITED!!

Congrats to you! I hope to meet her someday! I just missed Giada at a book signing just South of me....bummer! She's also one of my favorites! I can't see your photos, but will check back again soon!

I lived in Savannah for several years and managed a hotel there. I got to meet with her often. She is a wonderful person. If you ever get to Savannah, Ga you should try her food!!

I would love to go to her restaurant. Someone told me they waited 3 hours for a seat but it was so worth it. The only bad part was the Plano officers were so rude to everyone.

Wow, that must have been exciting.. I was in Savannah in Nov. and the tour driver told us to go to her restaurant, and I was like who is Paula Dean?? Then when I get home, I was watching the Foodnetwork and there she was... now I'm *)%*(# that I didn't go... They must have just started showing her show up here in Canada because I have always watched that network and had never seen her before.

I love her personality also... she really does sound down to earth, and her story is fasinating.

Did she sign it in butter... Good one...
