Thanks for all the tips and advice along the way. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but it's done and because I ended up not doing fondant, it went much quicker. Plus, the texture of water is perfect for crappy icers like me!

The wave is gumpaste over a 2 liter bottle. I got this idea from a cake in the gallery by Florimbio and emailed her for tips. Then I just used some royal for the white.

Thanks! I'm a little disappointed because my friends actually stopped by the house where I'm having the shower yesterday so they got to see it without me! That's my favorite part, really, seeing the reaction. Oh well. I told them to reinact it today! Plus, if it fell overnight (yikes), at least I know they saw it!
