First of all accept my standing ovation for the extraordinary decorating skills you guys are showing in here. OMG you are all so gifted. I recently started baking at home and have a long way to go. I started taking Wilton decorating classes course 1 and went for 2 weeks, i tried to post the picture of my first cake but it says that i got to reduce the image size to 800 * 800 ...any help on how to do that?????

The thing is my son will be 1yr old in May and i really want to make a cute cake for him. I got my eyes on this pooh cake and want some suggestions on how to do the colors on icing.

...it looks like some of it was airbrushed...but you can do the same with the new Wilton spray colors...they have them at Michaels or any cake stuff carrying craft store.
As for reducing the size of your pics, I dunno what software ya have...it would be easier if I could show ya

I would make it REAL easy for yourself! Just put a thin layer of brown under that area that you are doing grass...and then smear some away! That would probably work...and the Color mists from Wilton are real fun too!

I'm not much help with the cakes, but I can help with an easy solution for the photo problem.
Open a photobucket account. Just go to www.photobucket.com, it's quick, easy, and free. Upload the photo that you want into your photobucket account, go to edit, resize, and then resave it to your computer. Upload to CC from there.
