Hi everyone!

I'm a beginning cake decorator and I'm new to this website.

I've been browsing the pictures and I've noticed people talking about using a Viva paper towel to spread their buttercream.

Can anyone explain how to do this? I would love to get my buttercream as smooth as the pictures I saw!

Thank you!

Welcome to CC! You will love it here- there are sooo many talented decorators here who are so helpful when you need anything! Here is the link to the Viva method:

I also have used the "upside down method" and it is great too. It has instructions in the articles section also.
