what kind of flowers are they?? i know white roses,..but what else?

any advice on those few questions?? also, do i need to buy flowers from a certain place, or tell a florist it is for a cake?

this is my first time using flowers on a cake!

I have no idea what those other flowers are; but the way the flowers are arranged, it kinda looks like a swag. You could shape this yourself...just get some floral tape. Just arrange the flowers as you want...adding one or two at a time and wrap.

Good Luck!

When you wrap the stems, etc. with the floral tape, wrap them around some floral wire...this way, when you're done with the taping, you can bend it however you like.

As far as the flowers/leaves touching the cake...maybe use some wax paper underneath them.

Good Luck, HTH!!!

The red flowers look like what blooms off of a christmas cactus. I'm not sure what the real name of the plant is I just know it as a christmas cactus.
