Opinions On Where To Put Gold.....

I'm planning my parents' 50th wedding anniversary cake. It will serve about 100 people. I'm planning on making a stacked, 12", 10" and 8". I'm going to cover them in white fondant. Each layer will have different accents.....1 will have swiss dots, 1 will have swirls and 1 will have stripes. I'm debating on whether to make the accents gold and add white gumpaste flowers around each layer OR make the accents white and make gold flowers. Any ideas or opinions!!?? Thank you!!
I agree! I found this one is the gallery by Sweetart that I thought was very pretty. There are more that are really pretty in there that might help but wasn't sure what you were looking for. Good luck

I like that, too.
I'm also liking doing white chocolate molds, heavily coated in luster dust. There are some lovely medallions that would be beautiful done in gold - maybe as a border - or to accent the corners, if it's a square. Lots of hearts things can be found in chocolate molds. I'd also think about doing a 50 in chocolate or maybe royal or something to allow it to stand up - and gilding that in gold as well.
HOW ABOUT gold Fleur De Lis (? spelling) around on the buttom layer. Or White Rose w/ Gold tips on the petals painted w/ Gold paint.
Or a Gold band around each layer using Gold Fabric Ribbon OR Fondant painted w/ Gold Lustre paint. ![]()
