I am horrible at coming up with a fair price, so I thought I would ask y'all. Here are the details of the cake...

cake is a yellow scratch cake, with buttercream frosting (and filling), covered in choc MMF. Cake board covered with marbled MMF. Flowers and details are fondant/gumpaste and flower centers painted with luster dust.

Oh yeah, this is an 8 inch cake about 3 1/2 inchs tall

I can guess $50 or more that is a lot fo fondant on it and chocolate fondant is more, making a cake from scratch cost more and it is more time consuming

Great job first of all, and fifty sounds perfectly fair. All the ingredients, beautifully crafted flowers, and perfect fondant work, you almost wanna charge more. But i'd settle for 50? Anyone else

First of all, great job on your cake, the marble looks fantastik. I have to agree with Youngestdecorator, to charge more but 50 is fair.

Thanks. My sister suggested $60-70. But since my MIL is ordering it for a surprise...maybe $50 would be best. Thanks for the kind words.
