HELP! I am strapped for time and need to decorate a cake FAST! All I have on hand is canned frosting. Can I add anything to it to make it usable for decorating? AND still taste good? (matter of opinion)

If your in a pinch and it's only going to be for decorations - add some sifted confectionary sugar. It should stiffen it up to hold up for decorations - probably not roses but shell borders and things like that. give it a shot - try a little and see if it works icon_rolleyes.gif

What flavor do you have? You can add powdered sugar and a tsp of vanilla depending on what you already have.

I think you are supposed to add a cup of powdered sugar (I happened upon that Sandra Lee show while browsing Foodnetwork). And I'd add some vanilla as well. Good luck.
