Thanks yall! Your comments were worth it all. I made them for church for the small children's Easter party (it was tonight). The church I go to is large (for my area)....we have about 1500-2000 on Sunday morning.
Memphis, the icing (on all except the eggs & butterflies, which were totally RI) was all RBC with RI accents. I did get a lot of joy out of seeing those kids faces light up !!!!

Very nice job on the cookies. I'm glad to know that someone elses house looks just like mine did. I'm apparently not the only crazy one on here. hahah Its now almost 3am and I just finished a 3 day cookie baking binge for a ton of orders for cookie bouquets, and then just when I thought it was close to being over, I got an order for 16 dozen, plus 3 cakes. I've been dreaming of cookies for days, and hope I can actually wind down and catch some sleep!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Congrats on a job well done! They look great thumbs_up.gif

so when you put rolled buttercream on there, do you just use the cookie cutter and cut the same as you did for the cookies to begin with? I've never used anything like that before on cookies...not exactly a cookie expert here icon_rolleyes.gif

By the beautiful bright colors I'm guessing you use the Americolor electric gels??

Personally I love them! I've replaced almost all my Wilton Paste with them. They give you amazing color with just a few drops and the dark colors don't make the frosting bitter.

They are beautiful cookie. Great job!!

wow! that is a lot of cookies. You did a great job on them and I know they were appreciated. I thought it was bad enough doing 5 dozen large ones and 6 dozen small. And I don't have all of mine wrapped yet either =(

Sheena,
Actually I used the new neon gels from Wal-Mart. I love them! I also used them on the group birthday cake in my pics.

LaSombra,
Yes, you just use the same cookie cutter and I use corn syrup (applied lightly with a pastry brush) to adhere it to the cookie. I LOVE the RBC!!

Thanks again for all the nice comments!!!
