I just bought a set of Pyrex bowls, and was wondering if you can really bake in them? If so, is there a special temp. to set them too? Is there a certain time frame to have them in the oven, or can they be used like regular cake pans? etc...I'm totally clueless to this.

I use them just like any other cake pan and they work wonderfully. I used it at 325 for about an hour I think is how long it took to bake.

You know I was wondering this myself. I have a set of bowls too that I want to bake in. I will try it now!

I have baked in my pyrex bowl for several cakes and they came out great. I agree w/ reenie, use the same temp as a regular cake and give it about an hour. They do seem to take a little longer because of the depth.
Good luck.
