I made a huge batch of mousse filling, thinking I would need it all, but ended up having more than half of it left over. I was wondering if I could freeze it?

You could try, but I would be afraid that it might separate in the defrosting process and not sure if it will rewhip back up nice an fluffy. Your best bet to do a test run. Take a small amount and put in the freezer overnight, then the next day let it sit in the fridge or on the counter to defrost and see what happens. If it does separate, mix it back up and see if the taste and texture has been affected.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of too. I hate to waste it all... I will never eat all that before it goes bad icon_sad.gif I will try freezing some of it and see what happens.
