I know this has probably been asked by 1000 different people (I guess it's the momnesia or the Adult ADD setting in) but how in the crap can I get my license if I rent a kitchen?

There's no way I can do it in my home b/c of the dog issue so I've concluded that I have to rent a kitchen...but I want to make sure that it's legit before I start scrambling trying to find a place to rent.

Do I just apply for the license and take the food safety class?
How do they do inspections? What are the requirements?

If anyone in the TN area has done this please let me know...I'm pulling my hair out looking through all these forums icon_cry.gif

Thanks,
Stephanie

You can get your business license without having the Health Certification. If you rent space from someone who is certified by the Health Dept you are fine. There was no requirement by my county to take a food handling class.
