what is the name of your business?

Hi all

I am not in a strip mall but I am in a building with different businesses. The entrance is inside the building but i do have a large window facing the main road that I have made dummy cakes to place in the window for advertising and a large sign on the front of the building. The big black curtain you see in my pics is the front window. The name of my shop is Celebrations Cake Company. I got my business licenses yesterday, now all I lack is the inspection.

my only thought is the inspector wouldnt let me hang curtains, i hope he lets you keep the pink valance and the black one up.....
but as ive read here on cc, it varys from state to state.
advertise in the bridal planners and little community papers ( this is less then the big city newspapers) and you will thrive!!

love the shop, congrats!!!! the table in the center with the pans underneath, was that made by someone for you or did you buy that? I really like that table. what is the square feet of your kitchen? Like that size! I have a very small shop and work only part time, have another job that I can't make myself give up. Have so many orders now that I have to turn orders down. been open 1 1/2 years now. Good Luck & lots of success!!!!

Yes my counters were made by my dad but we purchased countertops from lowes. The pan racks were also built in the counter. They were made with 3/4 inch dowels. My square footage of just the kitchen is about 500 sq ft.

They look great!

Just wanted to give an update. I was inspected today by the health dept. I got a 99%. I didn't have my utensils stored with the handles facing up. I am just to be in business.
