Hi guys....I don't think this cake qualifies for the contest cause it was for a Christening, not a shower, so here it is....

Hi...thanks for your very nice comments....The horse is all MMF with a little Gum-tex for strength. I searched the web and found a photo of a pretty rocking horse and then copied each element, piece by piece, literally, and then put the whole thing together.

The legs, torso & head, tail, mane, the slats on the rocker, the saddle, etc. were sculpted, dried, glued together with royal and then "painted" with pink luster dust and then I piped some details with royal.

Thanks again....this was a true labor of love, as it was my gift to the family. But, from it, I had a smile on my face the entire night from the compliments, and I walked away with a couple of new enthusiastic clients!!

thanks melc....I thought about it...I actually cropped the photo to just have the top cake, pillow and horse, because that is definately "baby-like" but I decided not to....there'll be many more contests to enter....
