Hey everyone. I just finished school last week and have been doing the job search thing constantly. I was wondering if any of you are in the NJ area and know of an opening for pastry chef or cake decorator. I just don't seem to have luck finding a job. Thanks all. ~ pastrypuffgirl aka Christine

If I were you I would just drop by bakeries, store bakeries (not that you might want to be there), even restaurants and inquire about employment. Especially restaurants, even if they don't need you right now, fill out an application anyway - who knows when they need somone in a pinch. If there are any private caterers in your area, check them out also. Good Luck!

Take your resume and portfolio to different bakeries, even if they aren't hiring. You may get lucky.
