How Do You Airbrush Lusting Dust??

How do you airbrush lustre dust??
Do you disolve it in something???

I use everclear when I airbrush. Well I use Everclear anytime I use luster dusts. I mix it thinner than I would to paint with and do a couple of coats if I need to.

Everclear is grain alcohol. You can also use vodka. Or lemon extract.

I use lemon extract... I prefer not to use drinking liquors but its a personal thing...

I think grain alcohols are illegal in some states.

Yep they are. Gin will also work, vodka as well.

Everclear evaporates the fastest. Gin does faster than vodka.

Why can't cake supply places offer something like everclear and just label it "luster paint base" or something????

I mean, stores don't have to have a special license to sell lemon extract, so why can't cake stores sell something to paint with?
