My one and only customer's *hehehe* dad is diabetic. He's agreed to be my guinee pig. I would like to find some sugar free recipes for him. Any ideas?

Thanks

I tried this one and I thought it was pretty good:

I need to find some sugar free recipes too. My mother is diabetic and coming to live near me in May. She eats whatever she wants so I want to provide what's best for her when I can. UGH!

I've been struggling with this all week I had a thread going about it ... I have a cake to turn in this week ... I made it yesterday and have not had a chance to taste it yet ...the good news is that it doesn't look dangerous like the other one I made yesterday icon_redface.gif I got the recipe from the back of a splenda package that contains half sugar and half splenda ....

I tried substituting sugar for splenda 100% and that didn't work so save yourself the grief ... good luck!!

I'll try the yellow cake listed in recipes here but I'm not wild about yellow cake. Would love to find there's a white sugarless cake recipe out there.
If I find one I'll post about it.

This is tricky because sugar is so vital to the chemistry of a cake! I'm curious to know how your experiments turn out. I have a sil who is diabetic.

When I was looking for one Euphoriabakery sent me her recipes for diabetic chocolate cake as well as sf bavarian creme, sf choc mousse, sf choc whipped cream and diabetic cream cheese icing. If any of you want these maybe you can pm her or maybe I can send them. They taste great.
