By sugarpaste do you mean fondant or gumpaste? Gumpaste will keep almost indefinitely if they are away from moisture, don't store them iin tupperware or gladware type, they tend to pick up moisture. Just in a cardboard box lined with bubble wrap and sealed with a lid. I keep mine on a shelf in a closet.
