I made the red hat cookies for my grandmother and am shipping them to her tomorrow......one problem she doesn't need them until the 2nd ...so no big deal she can freeze them when she gets them...........my problem is I have already wrapped them in bags with ribbon..........the plan is that she will put the container into the freezer and I have warned her NOT to remove the lid UNTIL they are thawed...she plans on taking them from the freezer the day before she needs them.........

I know you are suppose to leave them sealed so they don't get condensation on them.....but what if they are in bags??? Will they still be ok or are they going to smudge??

Don't get me wrong my icing job needs a little help.....BUT NOT smudging!!!

They will be fine. i did my son's vaday cookies for his class early (a month) froze them in bags with ribbons on them. Then I put in a freezer safe tupperware. You were right about the thawing part. Should be fine IMHO!

Good Luk,

Julia
