I just wanted to know how long do the cookies keep for once baked in an air tight container. Hoping it's a week I already made them!

I can tell you this much, they freeze beautifully.......I froze mine before I frosted them for a month then pulled them out a couple of days before I needed them and frosted them........and they tasted wonderfull!!!!!!!!!! I left them out so the frosting could dry for three days uncovered......so I imagine they would last at least a week tightly sealed!

a week even untightly(?) sealed is ok for sugar cookies.
