Hi there,
Does anyone know how to make a nice icing that does conatin any dairy products?

A simple crisco and powdered sugar buttercream would work, just use water instead of milk and and flavorings like almond or vanilla or lemon to make it taste better.

That's what I do - I have a friend whose son cannot have wheat, gluten or any milk products. I also add a drop of lemon oil and a drop of orange oil to my BC.

Just make the bc icing without butter. Or if you want more of a whipped cream type icing then use Pastry Pride.
