Covering Cake Boards

does anyone have an in expensive idea on covering cake boards. i thought about maybe using white butcher paper and clear contact paper. i want to have plain white paper over the boards......of course as in expensive as possible. any idea where to buy a roll of butcher paper or something like it ?

sugar mama,
they sell butcher paper in the papergoods and chemicals section of the local wallymart. You can get it there.

There are some GREAT ideas on that thread that Cady posted.....just read it this morning! One that I'm going to experiment with is to cover the cake board with fondant and put ribbon on the board edges. Looks really nice!
