I have a cake order that is due Thursday. I baked last night and decided to go ahead and make my frosting as well too. (I will be icing and decorating tonight). I used the "My Easy Chocolate Buttercream" recipie from this site but I forgot to add the milk. I knew that it seemed thick but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Can I still add the milk even though I will have made the frosting almost 24 hours ago?
Guess it's time to stop making recipies from memory, mine seems to be slipping. lol

Yes you can still add the milk. You will need to to get it to the right consistency for your cake.

I would then store the BC in the refrigerator. Then just bring it back to room temp. before you go to use it.
