I just wanted to share with you the pictures of my first bouquets. I tried them about 4 years ago and it was a disaster. Now after making some butterfly cookies for my daughter's quinceanera last month, someone asked me about selling the cookies like lollipops, and looking at some pictures here I thought I could make my own cookie bouquets. So please tell me hat you think. These are samples, we've been eating them here at the house. icon_lol.gif

Just one thing, I can't seem to make this work well and sometimes have problems attaching pictures on the posts. So maybe they're not all together. Or you can simply look at my photos.
Thanks in advanced for you comments.

I love them - I am going to paint my first cookies today. Can you tell me how you did the butterflies? Thanks

Thanks for your comments.
Yes I use Royal Icing.
We made the butterflies like an asembly line. I tinted some royal icing and then divided it, I thinned one part, the other one was stiff. I also prepared some purple icing, and thinned it a bit. Then I would outline 3 to 5 cookies in a row, immediately flood them in. My husband put the purple lines and drag a toothpick to the center to create the feather effect. For the lines on the bottom he dragged the toothpick to the outside. All of this before they get set. This way we painted about 50 in about 1 hour or less.
