I have been wanting to do cupcakes for a looooooong time. Since i had no orders, i decided to bake a few and get together with a friend to decorate them. I baked around 40 and we took half each and just went for it, we each bought our own bits and pieces in fondant, and we designed and took heaps of pictures. My friend also came up with some fantastic designs. I am in the process of uploading mine to the galleries, but they are already in my webpage. So now all i have to do is fill up my Cookies page which is still empty. That is the next project. To have a cupcake decorating day : )

All the prices are on my website. I have gone by what i've seen others charge in Melbourne and the work involved in each one.

Great cupcakes. I REALLY like the way you elegantly display them on the plate. I'll have to remember that for taking photos of smaller items like cookies and cup cakes in the future. Really makes the photo more professional in appearance. Looks like you and your friend had tons of fun making them!

They are all lovely but my absolute favourites are the ones with multi coloured roses, they are just gorgeous and your roses are perfect!
Hard to imagine this being your first attempt at cupcakes kiddo, looks like you are an old pro at them!

Using a very small nail, and a large cupcake : )
Just gotta make them small, and do tight petals. The cupcakes were made in muffin patty cases, so they were about 2 inches wide.

It was really great, we couldnt believe just how much we got done. The kitchen looked like it had been hit by a cream and sprinkles bomb, but the cupcakes looked nice. I can hardly wait for our next project.
We first need to get some cookie recipes and I need to get my creative dead to make me some custom cutters for what i want to do. If he doesnt do it soon though, im going to give it a shot myself : )
Patience is not a virtue i possess : )
My husband has plenty of that for both of us : )
