In my opinion, ( I have used both), and it takes way less Americolor to color a batch of frosting than with Wilton. I should have made the switch a long time ago.

I completely agree ... I really love using their super black and super red colors, it is soo easy to mix those colors using those products!!

Americolor all the way thumbs_up.gif If push comes to shove, I use Wilton. It's not that bad but it gets frustrating especially for red and black. HTH.

The ease of using Americolor cannot be beat!! NO TOOTHPICKS!!!! icon_smile.gif I do, however have a few Wilton colors that I really like alot better, so I will use Wilton for my Cornflower blue, mossy green, and one of the mauves. Other than that, Americolor is SO much easier to use and colors icing and fondant so well!!! (Especially black and red)

I just recently tried the Americolor and will not go back to wilton unless I have to. Americolor is much easier to use and gives you really red!

I have both but love Americolor...as already mentioned, easier to use and deeper colors.

I just recently made the switch from Wilton to Americolor, and I am mostly happy with them (especially the 'electric' colors). thumbs_up.gif I did still have a problem with my black and red though, the color didn't take as easy as I was expecting. icon_sad.gif

honestly I think Wilton works well, but I have to say the Americolor squeeze bottles are just fabulous....do you use less, I am not sure (as I tend to think more comes out when i squeeze than did when I used toothpicks) but I do really like using it (mostly because those toothpicks always seem to end up making my fingers a mess)..... I love that the Americolors come in a much larger size, so I dont have to worry about running out of my red, black, brown etc......I just ordered another 6 colors from here and can't wait for them to arrive!

Americolor!!! - particularly for red and black But like angelas2babies said, I do use Wilton for just a few colors, including cornflower blue.

I have to agree with everyone.....Americolor is great. However I still use Wilton sometimes .... I find using the toothpick better if I only need a tad of color. The Wilton color faded in my MMF after a few hours. I was not happy!
