I have been making my own molds and jewel candies for a competition wedding cake. I could have just bought them? I guess I'm saving money but it would have saved me a lot of time. I need to get the frying pan and whack myself on the head! LOL!

Obviously I have no info. I just wanted to let you know how irritated you've made me. icon_biggrin.gif

Ok, I don't feel so bad after reading that thread. My first thought was how would they stay clear in shipping after being knocked against each other. Whew.

Are they pretty much like those ring pops?

Do a search on these. I read a bad review from a fellow CC member earlier in the week. Apparently, her shipment was beat and banged up by the time it got to her and they didn't look anything as pictured. Convinced me not to order.

I just read the threads and making your own is actually the smart choice, so I have made you feel happy about your self instead
post a photo when you use them, your cakes are great! icon_rolleyes.gif

I've never ordered from here before, but apparently this site has better 'gems':

In the same thread that newcakemaker referenced is the person who recommends jeff-the-chef's site. I think maybe 'sirius' is the name? Maybe you could PM her and ask if she's tried them? Wish I could help more!

Look in the galleries, somebody made a cake using these not to long ago. Around Christmastime if I remember correctly.

Sandy Hargrave did this cake with gumpaste jewels, but this should give you an idea of what is possible with them.
