Hey Guys! My parents are having there house remodled, and my Dad is having his bathroom done in mexican tiles. His birthday is in January, so I made him this cake, unfortunately, we do not live close together, so Im going to mail him the pic framed! I made the tiles by cutting them to shape and then painting them! They are made out of MMF, love that stuff, I cant say it enough!

Make sure you mention to your dad that you made the tiles out of fondant! Just looking at the cake they look so real- I wouldn't have guessed that they weren't actual tiles! You did a really beautiful job!

i love it when a saw it I just thought that would be a great cake for my cousin who loves mexican inspired pieces......If schedule permits then i will make something like thing. Or along these lines. maybe another piece from her home........great idea
