I've been looking for a place to buy bulk parchment paper (If any one has a good source please let me know).
Anyway I came across this site for a free sample of REynolds parchment paper. Help yourself!http://www.alcoa.com/reynoldskitchens/parchment_paper/en/home.asp
I use the Reynold's parchment paper all the time. Thanks for the tip. I signed up, but I wonder if they'll send a whole roll, or just a "sample" (aka sheet) of it?
I just ordered too! THANKS.
Reynolds is going to freak when they see all the free requests they get today. HAHAHAHAH

Since I am just baking at home right now, I have been ordering my parchment from King Arthur Flour: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/shop/detail.jsp?id=5854
You can cut them to fit any pan. I re-use these sheets over and over again- I usually get about 10 uses per sheet unless it's something really messy. Worth every penny and then some!
Surfas restaurant supply has 250 half sheets for $13.50 USD

You can also get 1000 half sheets for $51.95 or 1000 full sheets for $45.95
That's a lot of parchment!

Thanks for that link- I have never heard of them before but I'm definitely going to check them out! I wonder if their parchment is as heavy-duty as what I'm currently using....the stuff from King Arthur seems to be a much higher quality than what I was using in the bakery. Do you get a lot of uses from each sheet?
sweetamber- How can you reuse your parchment? Other than cookie baking, my parchment -Reynolds- is definitely shot after one use. Also thanks for pointing out the King Arthur site. That is huge! Stuff to buy and tutorials.
sweetamber-
This parchment is really one time use. However, I've reused sheets a few times when making butter cookies and the like, but they're done after 2-3 times in the oven. They will become too dry and brittle to use again, or have too much grease on them. They're probably exactly like the ones you've used in the past.
Are you able to wash the King Arthur ones? I'd like to know how you can get 10 uses out of parchment! Sounds like a Silpat hybrid!
The sheets from King Arthur are coated on both sides with silicone. You can't wash them- it's still paper- but you can wipe any crumbs off with a cloth or paper towel and re-use. They get a little colored with each use, but not brittle at all like the Reynolds paper. These stay nice and flexible!
I do love King Arthur- their flour is the best- but you need to shop around on some of their stuff....they tend to over price things.
