Here's the back story.

Since my daughter and I were both taking the Wilton classes together we ended up with more cake than any family needs or wants. icon_biggrin.gif

I decided to line up some friends who would let me drop of my version of the lesson on our way home after classes. I went to different houses to spread the wealth...heehee.

Well, on the last class of Wilton III I dropped of my tiered cake with a wonderful lady down the street.

She's been a friend for a long time so I put alot of detail into the cake. It was a sage green with cornelli lace, drop strings, white roses and other flowers and I used my left over fondant to make some cute little tea pot cut outs that I placed around the side of the layers. She collects tea pots. icon_lol.gif

(If I could figure out how to load a picture I would...I'm a bit clueless about that kind of stuff. icon_razz.gif

Anyway, I set the cake on her counter and she says, " Can you do that for 200 people?"
Her daughter is getting married in May.
I shrugged it off but when she came to return my pillers, she asks me again. I think she is serious. I'm getting the sweats just thinking about it....but I'm kinda excited too. icon_wink.gif

Just wanted to share today, thanks for reading.

Krissty,

I'll need to corner my dh to make it happen. He's the computer guy. I know just enough to get myself into trouble. icon_cool.gif

we'll give it a try later this week. I have whole nine cakes to load.

you guys are so nice and supportive too.
I'm not sweating anymore and am going to call her back to say that I'd like to talk with her daughter to see what she has in mind.

Once I know where the bride is coming from I'll be better able to determine if this is something I want to do or just pass this time.

I'm sure that I'll have lots more experience by May, I'm making three cakes just this week...hehehe.

Thanks again for the kind words.
I feel so loved. icon_redface.gif
