I've read to color MMF when you melt the marshmallows, but I'm making several baby animals and only need a little bit of several colors. Can I color the MMF after I've made it by kneading the color in? Thanks in advance.

the best way to do serveral colors is to use the small MMF recipe.

1 cup of marshmellows
1 tablesoon of water
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups of powdered sugar , but you may need more or less.
1 teaspoon of crisco (optional)

with this recipe you can add your color when you have melted your marshmellows, much easier than kneading it..

Thank you for this. Kneading is a real pain and besides the darker colors don't seem to come out real good when you knead.

Thank you so much! LOL, I never thought to use the smaller recipe because I always make the big recipe.
