You need to use a good cut-out cookie dough recipe a cookie icing that dries hard. I have lots of success with this one.

Cookie recipe(You can double this if you want)
1/2 cup crisco
1/4 cup imperial margerine
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Mix together. Chill dough for about an hour...roll and cut out.

Icing
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
3 3/4 powdered sugar
Beat on high for 7 minutes
Can be thinned down with water.

Also...antonia74 has a good cookie tutorial. icon_smile.gif
