Hey guys
I would really love to here all your opinions on my first modelled face, i have always loved the modelled figures of people exspecially bride and grooms. Irene (sweetfrost) is someone i really admire but i didnt wont to copy her figure's so i have tried to come up with an original face of my own...
Do you think she is Ok looking and would the facial features be suited to other eye color and hair style's... i am trying to achieve universal face..
Please share your opinions on her, i am still working on her face which i plan to outline a bit darker, also i need to perfect her mouth a little..
thanks in advance
kylie
Personally, I don't see one thing wrong with her, aside from the fact that she doesn't have a body I couldn't resist
No, really she's great! Her eyes are adorable!!! K'ly
She looks perfect from where I'm sitting! I would like to try my hand at figures, but I'm not sure I'll be this good.
Thanks eveyone, for saying she looks great...
doitallmom, its funny you say that as trying to model a face has been one of my biggest fears, i didn't want to try cause i new i would never get the face to look the way i invisioned...
i just mucked around last night drawing some eyes and mouths on paper until i was happy, then today i put the face on my pre-hardened ball.

I think she looks great! I have yet to try this out myself. I am a little scary about it. Can you tell me how you did the hair?
Can you tell me how you did the hair?
Hi tanya
i used a clay gun, its the disk with about 8 or so small holes in it...
kylie
PS.. she has a body now, i just need to finish the details so i will post a pic when she is finished....
Wow Her face is beautiful! hehe Im making bride and grrom figurines at the moment for a showroom cake... I have finished the Grooms body today and tomorrow if I get time I will do the brides body... Im leaving their faces till last as I want to try out new ways to do the faces... so I hope mine turns out as good as yours. hehe
WOW
She is sooo cute Kylie, you are a natural.
I would love to try a figure, but I'm too chicken.
Mine would look like they were from another planet or something.
Keep up the brilliant work.
Eyes are my hang up and would love to know how to do a lot of different eyes, there has to be a way.
Good for you to get your clay gun to make long hair, I had some trouble the first time I tried.
Does she have a nose?
kylie,
Your Birthday girl is adorable!!! Her face is very cute and the body is fantastic too!
Cindy
that is great! Nice job! do not change a thing! she's perfect! I havent done entire bodies yet... i have done upper halves in hot tubs, etc.... you inspire me to play!!!
She's even cuter now that she has a body and all. She looks like she could have been modeled after a real person. That's one of the things I'm afraid of-that the face will look cartoonish or something. Really Nice!!! What did you paint the face on with? I'd really like to at least attempt one, but I gotta find the 'spare' time!
Lovely, lovely face on that one! The eyes are fantastic... I would love to perfect my painting on the eyes. The lips are super as well! Great Job!!!
I think she is reallly cute the way she is. If you would like to try another experiment, perhaps her face could be a bit longer on the bottom or thinner on the sides. That would just give a different less round look. I have not been able to freehand a face so kudos to you! I have just used a mold...even that challenges me!
Beautiful figure!
Julia
Wow..I am impressed with your girly!!
I think her face is very pretty..you have made her look fun and stylish...The great thing is that she doesn't look scary in the least..very pretty instead!!
Great job..actually, depending on the face, sometimes I like them without a nose. Looked like you might have put one on her with the body..a little hard to see in the 2nd pic. Anyhow, I like her just the way she is in the 1st pic if you want an opinion on that...and lastly, very pretty clothing and packages...
edited to say that I wish I had eyebrows shaped like that
Love your cakes and this will bring a whole other look to them!
Thumbs up to you!
Jane
