This was made for the 60th birthday of the conductor of the Netherlands flute orchestra (to which my other half belongs). Lemon sheetcake and 8in round, both filled with freshly made lemon curd. Covered with lemon buttercream and decorated with fondant musical notes and clefs.The thing on top of the cake is meant to be a conductor's baton, but it's a bit short and fat!
