My mother n law has a friend that just finished chemo and she would like to give her a cake somehow related to Breast Cancer Awareness...any suggestions?

I hope your MIL's friend is doing well!

How about a cake made with the pink ribbon that symbolizes Breast Cancer Awareness? The cake can either be shaped like the ribbon or made like a package with a pink ribbon bow.

You could do something very simple like a white icing with just the pink ribbon on it. You might go to the American Cancer Society website to get some other ideas as well.

I like the idea about the cake shaped like the ribbon...but how would i do that .... icon_confused.gif any suggestions.

Sure..depending on the size cake you would need.

For instance, take a 1/4 or 1/2 sheet cake (or even smaller) and carve it out of that. A partially frozen cake is best if carving! It's a pretty simple design. You could draw it out on paper first if you are not comfortable doing it free hand!

You could do that really easy with a heart shaped pan, fondant, and luster dust.
